Tinubu to Receive APC Certificate of Return This Sunday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to officially receive the All Progressives Congress (APC) Certificate of Return and the party’s flag as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general election on Sunday.
According to presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the presentation will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja following the nationwide collation of results from the APC presidential primary election.
Onanuga stated that President Tinubu will formally be presented with the certificate and flag as the party’s candidate for the upcoming election.
The statement shared on X on Saturday indicated that APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), National Working Committee (NWC), lawmakers from the National Assembly, and other senior party officials are expected to attend the ceremony.
The event comes amid ongoing nationwide endorsements and the victories Tinubu recorded in the APC presidential primaries across multiple states.
