Trump unveils commemorative US passport featuring his image

Donald Trump has unveiled a new limited-edition design of the United States passport, released ahead of the country’s 250th independence anniversary and featuring his own image.
He shared the design on his Truth Social platform, describing it as the “U.S.A.’s New Passport,” and adding the phrase, “Welcome, but be good!” alongside the mock-up.
The design shows Trump’s portrait with a stern expression placed prominently on one page, alongside his signature and a backdrop referencing the Declaration of Independence.
The facing page features an illustration of the 1776 signing of the Declaration, with “United States of America 250” written beneath it.
The White House also published the design under the label “PATRIOT PASSPORT,” while noting it forms part of planned commemorative materials for the anniversary.
The U.S. State Department had earlier indicated that a special passport edition with custom artwork would be released from July 6, though it has yet to issue an official response to the latest unveiling.
