Aston Villa Land Garnacho

Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho on a season long loan deal, with an obligation to make the move permanent under certain conditions, according to reports.
The transfer represents a major attacking addition for Villa manager Unai Emery, who is believed to have pushed for the move as he looks to add more pace, creativity and goal threat to his squad ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Garnacho, who joined Chelsea after leaving Manchester United, has struggled to secure a guaranteed starting role at Stamford Bridge and is now set to seek regular first team football under Emery at Villa Park.
The 21 year old winger is regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in European football, having previously impressed with his direct running, one-on-one ability and goal contributions during his time in England.
Aston Villa are expected to benefit from Garnacho’s versatility, with the Argentine capable of playing on either flank while also operating in advanced attacking positions.
The deal reportedly includes an obligation to buy, meaning Villa could make the transfer permanent if agreed sporting conditions are met during his loan spell.
Emery sees Garnacho as a player who can fit into Villa’s attacking system and provide competition for places as the club continues its push for domestic and European success.
For Chelsea, the agreement allows Garnacho to gain valuable playing time while also giving the club an opportunity to evaluate his long term future amid ongoing squad restructuring.
