Otti Congratulates Adeleke on Osun Victory

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has congratulated Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and the people of Osun State on the peaceful conduct of the just-concluded governorship election.
In a statement personally signed by him on Sunday, Otti described the peaceful turnout of voters and the conduct of the election as a reflection of Nigeria’s democratic progress and citizens’ commitment to peaceful coexistence.
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies and other stakeholders for their roles in ensuring a credible electoral process.
“This successful exercise further strengthens democratic governance in our country and reinforces the voice of the people in choosing their leaders,” Otti said.
The Abia governor urged Adeleke, as he begins his second term, to remain committed to people-focused governance, improved opportunities and sustainable development in Osun State.
“As an Abia grandson, we stand with you and your state in the shared vision of building stronger institutions and delivering the dividends of democracy to our people,” he added.
Otti also prayed for wisdom, good health and strength for Adeleke as he continues to lead the state.
