2027: Fagbenro-Bibire Vows Loyalty To Governor Makinde, Says Federal Rep Or Not, People’s Welfare Remains Priority

Renowned philanthropist, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire has reaffirmed his loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde, declaring that his commitment to the welfare of the people remains unchanged whether he emerges as a member of the House of Representatives or not in the 2027 general elections.

He made this known while addressing newsmen today in Ibadan.

Bibire who appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for his unprecedented administration over the past 7 years, said the number one citizen of Oyo State has continued to distinguish himself as a leader who puts the people first in every decision concerning the growth and stability of Oyo State.

“I must sincerely commend Governor Seyi Makinde for how he has shown over the years that leadership is about service to the people, and that is why many of us who believe in development and progress will continue to stand by him and support his direction for the state,” he said.

The leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency stated that his loyalty to the governor remains unbending because he believes Makinde always acts with the interest of the people and the future of the state in mind.

He said, “Whatever decision Governor Seyi Makinde takes concerning 2027 is fully acceptable to me because I trust his judgment and I know his decisions are always guided by the peace, unity, and development of Oyo State.”

Bibire also said his passion for helping people did not start because of politics and would not end because of any political position.

“My concern has always been about the welfare of the people, and that will continue whether I become a federal lawmaker or not because service to humanity is something I have chosen as a way of life,” he said.

He therefore urged his supporters across Ibadan Northwest and Southwest Federal Constituency and other parts of the state to remain peaceful and continue supporting every candidate working with Governor Makinde’s direction ahead of the 2027 elections.

“I want all my supporters and loyalists to remain united and support those moving with the leadership direction of Governor Seyi Makinde because the stability and continued progress of Oyo State must remain our collective priority,” he stated.

Bibire added that the achievements recorded under the Makinde administration across infrastructure, workers welfare, education, and healthcare have strengthened the confidence of the people in Governor Seyi Makinde across Oyo State.

“The governor has continued to touch lives through practical projects and people oriented policies, and these are the things that strengthen the confidence of the people in Governor Seyi Makinde across Oyo State,” he concluded.
