Fagbenro-Bibire Commends Nomination Of Adekanmbi As Guber Candidate, Praises Governor Makinde

Staunch ally of Governor Seyi Makinde, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro Bibire, has commended the nomination of Bimbo Adekanmbi as the preferred successor to Governor Seyi Makinde.
He also praised Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as his foresight and careful consideration in opting for the best mind capable of sustaining the people-centred Omi-tuntun agenda that has continued to transform governance in Oyo State since 2019.
In a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan today, Saturday, Bibire described Adekanmbi as a trusted, experienced, honest, dynamic, and result driven leader with strong administrative capacity.
The retired United States Navy veteran said the nomination of Adekanmbi was based on loyalty to the people, proven competence, administrative experience, and the ability to continue the developmental pace already established in the state.
“It gives me great joy to celebrate my friend and brother, Bimbo Adekanmbi, a seasoned technocrat, financial expert, and experienced administrator, whose calm, wise, and sound leadership qualities make him the right choice to take the leadership baton from Governor Seyi Makinde,” he said.
Bibire furthered that Adekanmbi possesses the required experience and understanding to consolidate on the achievements recorded under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde across different sectors in Oyo State.
“Bimbo Adekanmbi has the knowledge, exposure, and capacity to build on the strong foundation already laid in Oyo State through purposeful leadership and people-oriented governance,” he maintained.
He continued that the nomination presents another opportunity for continuity in governance and sustained delivery of democratic dividends to the people of the state.
“The people of Oyo State deserve continuity of good governance, and this nomination gives the state another opportunity to sustain the progress and development that began under Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019,” he noted.
The unparalleled humanitarian also described Adekanmbi as a leader with broad acceptance among the people because of his sincerity, openness, and commitment to human development.
“He has shown over the years that he values people and understands the importance of unity, fairness, and service, and these qualities have continued to attract support and goodwill from many people across the state,” Bibire argued.
The retired United States Navy veteran, therefore, pledged his full support and commitment to Adekanmbi’s victory at the polls come 2027.
“I must state clearly that I am fully committed to your emergence as Governor of Oyo State, as I firmly believe you possess the experience, capacity, and leadership qualities needed to move Oyo State forward,” he submitted.
