Ward 12 Councillor, IBSWLG Secretary, Supervisory Councillors, & Special Assistants Donate N600,000 to Party Members

The Councillor representing Ward 12 in Ibadan Southwest Local Government, Hon. Ayoade Phillip, alongside the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adebanjo Raphael Sunday, Supervisory Councillors: Hon. Olumide Bello and Hon. Kolawole Adeoye, as well as Special Assistants: Hon. Obasanmi Ayodeji, Hon. Gani Alasa, Hon. Jagun Gbolagade, and Hon. Abiodun Adewami, have collectively donated N600,000 in cash support to party members.
This development is part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen party activities and provide direct support to members at the grassroots level.
The donation was made on Thursday, yesterday, during the weekly meeting of the party, where members gathered to discuss issues relating to the progress and growth of the party within the ward and the local government.
Speaking on behalf of the donors, Hon. Ayoade Phillip said the development was borne out of their collective desire to contribute to the continued growth of the party and appreciate members whose commitment and sacrifices have remained fundamental to its success over the years.
“We believe that a strong party is built on the strength and wellbeing of its members, and that is why we considered it necessary to come together to support our people and demonstrate that their efforts and loyalty to the party are valued and appreciated,” he said.
He further stated that the donation was not just an act of support but a validation of the collective commitment of elected and appointed office holders from the ward to the welfare of members and the overall progress of the party.
“Our party has continued to record successes because of the laudable commitment of members at the grassroots, and we will continue to identify with them, support them, and work together to ensure that the party remains united, focused, and stronger than ever before,” he added.
The party leaders and all beneficiaries communicated their profound appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a demonstration of responsible leadership and a clear indication that the elected and appointed officials from the ward remain connected to the aspirations and welfare of party members.
Hon. Ayoade assured party members that all elected and appointed political office holders from Ward 12 remain committed to the overall development of the party, the welfare of its members, and the progress of Ward 12 as well as Ibadan Southwest Local Government as a whole.
He concluded by calling on members to remain steadfast and united while giving their full support to all APM candidates from top to bottom.
