Woman Admits Making $700 From Daughter’s Abuse
Anulika Onyeanusia, the 36-year-old woman arrested in Anambra State over the alleged sexual abuse of her underage daughter, has admitted making as much as $700 from sharing pornographic videos of the child online.
During an interrogation at what appeared to be a police facility, Onyeanusia said she initially sent a video of her eight-year-old daughter to a white man through WhatsApp, after which he sent her money in dollars.
When asked how much she received, she said, “Sometimes, he gave me $300. Sometimes he gave me $400.”
A popular Anambra-based comedian and content creator, Valentine Obinwanne, popularly known as Onye Obodo, conducted the interrogation.
Obinwanne questioned why she would subject her daughter to such abuse for money, telling her, “So because of $300, $400, that’s why you have to mess up your child to please that man?”
He also told the suspect that he was at the police facility to condemn her actions.
When asked about the highest amount she had made from posting the child’s pornographic videos, Onyeanusia said it was $700.
She also confirmed that the girl was eight years old.
Amid condemnation from people at the facility, the suspect reportedly said she had seen many Nigerian women engaging in similar acts on social media.
