Only APC Members Can Re-elect Tinubu in 2027 — Uzodinma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would secure re-election in 2027 if only members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) participate in the voting process.
Uzodinma made the remarks while addressing journalists during the ongoing APC presidential primary exercise in Orlu East Local Government Area of Imo State.
The governor attributed Tinubu’s growing support to what he described as the President’s performance in office and the APC’s grassroots mobilisation strategy across the country.
He added that the party’s electronic membership registration and validation process strengthened inclusiveness and boosted participation at the grassroots level.
“It’s very obvious that Tinubu has done enough to deserve going back for a second term,” Uzodinma said.
“You can see 35,000 human beings in just one ward in Orlu East Local Government. If only our party members vote for President Tinubu, he has already won the election,” he added.
Uzodinma congratulated Nigerians for sustaining democracy and praised Tinubu for “doing politics the way it should be done.”
He also urged opposition parties to remain committed to democratic competition, stressing that democracy thrives when there is a strong opposition.
“I encourage the opposition parties to work hard and do what the ruling party has done. When it becomes their turn, they will elect their own president,” Uzodinma added.
