Tinubu Asks Nigerians to Pray for Terrorists, Bandits

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to pray for terrorists and bandits to renounce violence and abandon criminal activities as his administration intensifies measures to restore security nationwide.

The appeal was made on Thursday during a meeting with security chiefs and traditional rulers at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The gathering focused on the worsening security challenges in the country, including terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry.

Tinubu stressed that his government remains committed to combating insecurity through coordinated military operations, improved intelligence gathering, and enhanced collaboration among security agencies.

He further established the importance of spiritual support and collective national effort in addressing Nigeria’s security crises.

“Nigerians must pray that terrorists and bandits reconsider their actions and abandon their criminal ways,” Tinubu stated.

The President amplified that protecting lives and ensuring citizens can live without fear is a top priority for his administration.

He urged communities to cooperate with security forces and provide timely information, noting that criminal networks often flourish when local support is lacking.

Tinubu reassured Nigerians that the Federal Government will continue to invest in modern security technology, equipment, and operational strategies to eliminate insurgency and banditry.
