Fagbenro-Bibire Congratulates Oyo First Lady On Her Birthday, Commends Her Support For Women, Girl Child Development

The Special Adviser on Security to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro (Bibire), has congratulated the First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency Mrs Tamunominini Makinde, on the occasion of her birthday today, June 9, 2026.

Bibire, in a congratulatory statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, described her as a woman whose applaudable contributions have impacted lives across different segments of the society.

Bibire said the First Lady has bagged the admiration of the good people of Oyo State through her interest in causes that affect women, children, and vulnerable groups, adding that her interventions over the years have brought relief, encouragement, and opportunities to many families within and outside Oyo State.

He noted that her support for the education of the girl child, access to healthcare, and economic advancement for women has continued to open doors for many people who ordinarily would have been left behind.

According to him, Mrs Makinde has perpetually used her position to draw attention to issues affecting women and children, while also lending her voice to programmes that promote dignity, inclusion, and social development.

Bibire further commended the First Lady for the role she has continued to play in supporting the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, describing her as a dependable partner whose contributions have complemented the efforts of government since the inception of the administration in 2019.

He stated that behind many successful public service efforts are those who quietly provide support, guidance, and encouragement, adding that the First Lady has continued to unrelentingly play such a role.

The Governor’s aide prayed for God’s continued favour upon her life and wished her many more years in good health, wisdom, peace, and fulfilment as she continues her service to humanity.
