INEC Updates Portal, Replaces Makinde-Backed Executives

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has removed Ahmed Yayari and Daniel Woyengikuro from its portal, who were previously listed as the PDP National Treasurer and National Financial Secretary, and replaced them with Odeyemi Mackson Oladiran and Eyim Donatus Henry as the new executives.
Ahmed Yayari and Daniel Woyengikuro are associated with the Makinde-backed Turaki faction, while Odeyemi and Eyim belong to the faction led by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, which is also the officially recognised wing of the PDP.
Previously, INEC had acknowledged the Wike faction by listing Abdulrahman Mohammed as the National Chairman and Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary, but had retained Yayari and Woyengikuro as executives, causing confusion about the party’s official leadership.
Following the latest update on its portal, all executives of the PDP now fully reflect alignment with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike’s faction.
