Osun Election: INEC Assures Results Will Reflect Voters’ Choice, Promises Credible Poll

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has assured Nigerians and stakeholders that the outcome of the August 15 Osun State governorship election will reflect the genuine choice and will of the people.

INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, gave the assurance while reaffirming the commission’s commitment to conducting a free, fair, transparent and credible election in the state.

The electoral umpire said all necessary arrangements were being put in place to ensure that eligible voters are given the opportunity to cast their ballots without intimidation or interference.
