BREAKING: EFCC Declares City Boys Women Leader Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, the women leader of the City Boys Movement, wanted for alleged fraud.

The notice was issued on Monday through the EFCC’s official X account.

The anti-corruption agency stated that Tejuosho is wanted in connection with a case involving obtaining money under false pretences.

The notice was signed by Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity.

In the notice, the EFCC called on the public to provide any useful information that could lead to Tejuosho’s arrest.

The Commission urged anyone with information to contact any EFCC office across the country, reach out through its official communication channels, or report to the nearest police station or security agency.

Tejuosho was recently appointed as the South-West Zonal Women Leader of the City Boys Movement.

In an announcement of her appointment, the Movement highlighted her role in providing leadership and coordinating political mobilization and advocacy efforts focused on women across the zone.

The EFCC has not shared further details on the specific nature of the allegations.

However, the agency confirmed that investigations into the matter are ongoing.
