The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the completion of the upload of all its candidates for the 2027 general elections on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the APC said it successfully submitted the details of 471 candidates, including its presidential and vice-presidential candidates, 109 senatorial candidates, and 360 House of Representatives candidates.
Yilwatda described the development as a major achievement for the ruling party, congratulating its candidates, leaders, and members for the successful completion of the nomination process.
“I congratulate our candidates, leaders, and members of APC on the successful 100% upload of our Presidential, Vice Presidential, Senate, and House of Representatives candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP),” he said.
The APC chairman added that the party would now focus on mobilisation efforts and preparations towards a successful campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“With this milestone achieved, our focus now shifts to mobilisation and preparations for a successful campaign and decisive victory at the polls,” he added.
