BREAKING: Sowore Addresses Press After Court Hearing in Blord–VeryDarkMan Case

Omoyele Sowore, the human rights activist and former presidential candidate, spoke to the press after attending the Federal High Court proceedings in Abuja, concerning the ongoing impersonation case involving Blord and VeryDarkMan.

Sowore, who has been a vocal supporter of Blord throughout the legal battle, explained that his involvement in the case was to ensure Blord was granted bail and that the charges would ultimately be dropped.

“I’ve told you all that my role in this case is to secure BLORD’s bail and to see the case come to an end. We’ve also succeeded in getting BLORD out of prison. Everything I promised has happened,” Sowore stated.

In response to threats reportedly aimed at him, Sowore noted that he was ready to make sacrifices for the cause and had no intention of engaging in a public confrontation with VeryDarkMan.

“As for the threats against me, I’ve already said I’m willing to make personal sacrifices. I won’t be exchanging words with VeryDarkMan,” Sowore added.

Blord was granted bail in the amount of ₦20 million after being held at the Kuje Correctional Centre, while the case continues to capture widespread public attention.

The ongoing case revolves around accusations of impersonation and the unauthorized use of an individual’s image for commercial purposes, and it remains under legal review.
