Atiku Files ADC Presidential Forms, Promises New Direction for Nigeria

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has submitted his presidential nomination forms at the national headquarters of the African Democratic Congress in Abuja.
The move officially signals his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election under the ADC platform.
Atiku shared the development on his X account on Thursday.
He described his ambition as part of a wider mission to rebuild Nigeria and restore hope among citizens.
“The march to restore prosperity and better days to our beloved nation took a firm and decisive step forward today,” he wrote.
The former Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate said the movement goes beyond politics.
According to him, the goal is to rescue the country from hardship and create a better future for Nigerians.
Atiku also called on citizens from different ethnic, religious, and regional backgrounds to support the project.
“I call on all Nigerians, regardless of region, faith, or background, to join us in this noble cause,” he stated.
He expressed confidence that unity and collective effort can help restore progress and stability in the country.
