Aisha Yesufu Engages Grassroots Ahead of FCT Party Primaries

Activist and political figure Aisha Yesufu has embarked on extensive grassroots consultations across Abaji, Kwali, and Gwagwalada Area Councils in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of upcoming party primaries.
In a statement shared on social media, Yesufu explained that the visits were designed to engage directly with party leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders to build support ahead of the primaries.
She said the consultations drew significant participation from party members and supporters, many of whom expressed confidence in her leadership and dedication to public service.
“The gatherings were vibrant and full of solidarity as party leaders and stakeholders openly pledged their unwavering support for my candidacy,” Yesufu said.
According to her, discussions during the visits focused on promoting unity, transparency, accountability, and stronger grassroots involvement in political processes across the FCT.
The engagements form part of early mobilisation efforts by aspirants as political parties step up preparations for primaries nationwide.
