Fayose Slams Tinubu Over Handling of Oyo School Kidnapping

Nigerian political commentator Isaac Fayose has criticised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his response to the reported abduction of school children and teachers in Oyo State.
Fayose alleged that the President failed to address the nation through a broadcast and did not visit the victims or affected communities.
He further claimed that while the security crisis unfolded, President Tinubu remained in Lagos attending the APC presidential primary election.
“So many school children and teachers were kidnapped in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, and one of their teachers was beheaded. President Tinubu did not make any nationwide broadcast to address the issue. He is currently in Lagos and did not visit them, yet today he is out for his primary election,” Fayose stated.
His comments have generated discussions across political and social platforms, with debates continuing over government response to insecurity and public expectations during national emergencies.
Authorities have not yet issued a formal response to Fayose’s allegations.
