Iheanacho Scores as Celtic Beat Dunfermline to Lift Scottish Cup

Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho was on target as Celtic defeated Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park on Saturday.
Celtic started the match brightly, with Daizen Maeda opening the scoring in the 17th minute to give the Scottish champions an early lead.
The Hoops maintained control and doubled their advantage nine minutes before halftime through Arne Engels.
Iheanacho came on as a substitute for James Forrest shortly before the hour mark and made an immediate impact for Celtic.
The Nigerian international scored Celtic’s third goal to put the final beyond Dunfermline’s reach and secure another domestic trophy for the club.
Josh Cooper pulled one back for Dunfermline in the 80th minute, but Celtic comfortably held on to claim victory at Hampden Park.
Iheanacho finished the season with nine goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Celtic.
