Omo-Agege Dumps APC

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, KSJI, Deputy President of the 9th Senate and Obarisi of Urhoboland, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC), effective immediately.
The announcement came in a letter signed by Sunday Areh, Media Adviser to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, to the Chairman of Orogun Ward 2, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State.
In the letter, Senator Omo-Agege stated that after reviewing recent developments within the APC in Delta State and consulting with his associates and supporters, he believes his political objectives and those of his constituents are better served outside the party.
He said he will not remain a sitting duck in a party where he cannot advance the interests of Delta Central, Delta State, and Nigeria.
Senator Omo-Agege expressed gratitude to the APC for the opportunity to serve as Deputy President of the 9th Senate and wished the party well.
He added that he has requested that his name be removed from all membership records, registers, and communication lists.
The senator affirmed that his focus remains on delivering development and effective representation for Delta Central, Delta State, and Nigeria, and he will pursue these goals outside the APC.
