The Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has announced new security measures aimed at curbing banditry and kidnapping across Katsina State following an emergency security meeting with security agencies, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders.

According to the government, the restrictions are intended to cut off logistics and communication channels allegedly being used by criminal groups to support their operations in remote communities.

The state government further directed full enforcement of the Executive Order and warned that defaulters would face strict consequences as authorities intensify efforts to restore security and public order across the affected areas.
