City Boy Movement Sacks Oyo Coordinator

The City Boy Movement has removed its Oyo State Coordinator, Ahmed Ajibola, over allegations of insulting President Bola Tinubu, Seyi Tinubu and the leadership of the organization.
The decision was announced in a statement issued on Thursday by the movement’s Director-General, Francis Shoga.
According to the statement, Ajibola’s removal came about two months after he was issued a formal notice to respond to allegations contained in a petition filed against him.
The movement accused him of making abusive and derogatory remarks against its national leadership, including the Director-General.
“On the 2nd of June, 2026, a notice signed by the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, accused Ajibola of making abusive, insulting and derogatory remarks against the national leadership of the Movement, including the Director-General,” the statement read.
It added that the petition also alleged that Ajibola made offensive comments about the movement’s patron, Seyi Tinubu, and directed derogatory remarks at President Bola Tinubu.
The statement further accused him of acts of insubordination and disrespect towards constituted authority.
The movement also alleged that Ajibola challenged one of its leaders in Oyo State to a physical confrontation and engaged in actions capable of damaging the reputation of the organisation.
According to the statement, Ajibola was directed to submit a written defence within 48 hours, with a warning that failure to provide a satisfactory response could lead to further disciplinary measures.
